"Foto-foto yang terdapat di Lumia 1520 dapat di-share juga melalui Instagram. Microsoft, Nokia dan Instagram telah bekerja sama dalam sebulan ini agar aplikasi berbagi foto ini hadir di Nokia," ujar Stephen Elop, CEO Nokia.
"Kami sangat menantikan komunitas Windows Phone menggunakan Instagram untuk menangkap dan berbagi momen indah, dalam beberapa minggu ke depan," kata CEO Instagram, Kevin Systrom.
Pernyataan ini tentu menjawab kapan waktu pasti hadirnya aplikasi ini. Agustus lalu, Vice President Executive Nokia, Chris Weber, memberikan pernyatan yang dilansir oleh Bangkok Post bahwa Instagram akan hadir di Nokia. Namun, waktu itu belum ada kepastian waktunya.
Meski instagram hanya satu dari berbagai aplikasi populer saat ini, tapi aplikasi ini memberikan efek yang signifikan bagi Microsoft karena penggunanya cukup banyak.
Instagram sendiri merupakan aplikasi populer yang dapat dikatakan paling akhir berkomitmen kerjasama dengan Nokia setelah sebelumnya Path, Flipboard dan Vine telah lebih dulu hadir.
